Counseling and Training Clinic

The Counseling and Training Clinic offers counseling to individuals, couples, families, and children.

All sessions are facilitated by counselor trainees. Sessions are completely private and confidential and are supervised by fully trained licensed professionals in an environment of safety and trust.

We will provide resources, skills, and activities families can use and incorporate to unify the family, help provide stability and security, and prepare families for returning to school in the fall.

Schedule: 2 sessions a week for 5 weeks

Who is eligible:

  • Participants must be age 18 or older
  • Must have a device (phone, tablet, computer) that
    they can use to log into Webex software.
  • Participants must speak English and wish to
    improve their relationship.
  • Both members of the couple must attend
    counseling together.

This group will discuss different areas of communication and different skills we can use to be heard and communicate our needs as they arise. 

Schedule: Tuesdays 3:30-5pm beginning June 9 or Wednesdays 12:30-2 pm beginning June 10.

Who is eligible: Adults age 18+

Details: This wellness group will cover a different area of wellness (an activity, a topic, and a discussion) each week of how to incorporate wellness into our lives easily and effectively.

Sessions are offered by the Counseling and Training Clinic on the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi campus, and are currently taking place via telehealth.

The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 12pm - 8pm. Offices are closed during university holidays. Please call first to check our schedule.
